Where Product Design Meets Cinematography.
Five-D CG was born from a collision of worlds: the raw energy of the 90s mountain bike scene and the technical precision of 3D Product Design.
In the 1990s, Victor Lucas was a 3D Product Designer, obsessed with the mechanical harmony of bicycles and the excitement of mountain bike racing. That obsession evolved into a photo and video career capturing the “glory days” of MTB racing for iconic magazine titles like Dirt Magazine, MBUK, and Bike. From the high-pressure sidelines of the World Cup to creating global campaigns for brands like Specialized, Giant, SRAM, Cannondale, Santa Cruz, Marin, Fox and more. I have spent over twenty years learning exactly how to make an audience feel the speed, the grit, and the innovation of a premium product.
The Evolution: Reality to Render
As media evolved, so did we. We realized that to tell the full story of a modern engineering marvel – be it a carbon fiber frameset or a complex internal drivetrain, the camera lens wasn’t enough. To truly visualize innovation, you have to go under the surface.
