Omos is a small company that designs and manufactures high quality street furniture, it can be seen all over Ireland, the UK and Europe. They needed high quality images of their products looking their absolute best, but the problem is that a public street is a harsh environment, so products never look new for long. There is also the difficulty of weather and the general clutter of a busy street – so traditional photography was not the solution in this case.
5DCG took the 3D engineering models created by Omos and refined those to look as photorealistic as possible. Great care was taken to match the finishes of untreated Iroko timber, brushed stainless steel, powder coated steel and granite.

During look development, we experimented with generative AI as a way to enhance surface textures, lighting and environments, but it proved very difficult to guarantee consistency throughout the set of images. No AI was used in the final images seen here.
